Description:
This game is a satirical take on an epic science fiction novel and film, set in a distant future where a feudal interstellar society exists. The noble houses control individual planets and owe allegiance to the Emperor. The game follows the story of a young man whose noble family is entrusted with the stewardship of a desert planet, which happens to be the sole source of the highly valued substance known as “spice” melange. As a result, the control of the young man and his planet becomes a coveted and treacherous undertaking. The game delves into the intricate relationships between politics, religion, ecology, technology, and human emotions as the empire’s factions battle each other for control of the young man and the precious “spice” resource.
